Julio has been learning Suntukan-Sikaran, the philippine form of Muay Thai-Boran, since he was a child. He has been teaching at least elements of Suntukan-Sikaran for over 30 years. For about 15 years he has been teaching pure Muay Thai / Muay Boran. Julio currently holds the 11th Khan which earns him the title "Kru". Among other awards, he became vice World Champion in Muay Boran in 2005 - together with Arjarn Ralf Kussler, in Bangkok. Julio regularly holds Muay Thai-Boran seminars and takes part in Muay Thai galas and tournaments with BODYSHOCK fighters throughout Europe. Julio and BODYSHOCK are members of GMTF (German Muay Thai Federation) and AITMA (Association Institute of Thai Martial Arts).
